LinkUp’s Nic Gustafson (Data Solutions Manager) and Matt Trocke (Product Manager) join us to unpack LinkUp job posting data on Dewey: US postings sourced directly from 80,000+ employer career sites, with full posting text and history back to 2007, plus the Extracted Salary dataset covering 34 million postings with stated compensation.
Researcher Faezeh Khosravi will then present her paper: “"Generative AI and Firm Hiring Demand: Evidence from Advanced and Developing Economies," which uses postings data to show how firms more exposed to generative AI began cutting high-substitution vacancies within months of ChatGPT's release, and why that shift moved faster in developing economies than in advanced ones.
