The reason we can make this data affordable for academic research is because of our promise to data partners that it will only be used by the academic community. This restriction helps us keep an eye on who is using the data. We also provide affordable research assistant licenses and bulk discounts for groups to make it easy for everyone involved to have a license. You can read more about the data license in our terms and conditions.

Dewey works with the university groups that subscribe to notify all members who are included on the group license. If you'd like to double-check, feel free to reach out to support@deweydata.io
If you've subscribed to Dewey and then a group you're a member of also subscribes within the next 6 months, we'll provide a full refund of your individual subscription.
When you cancel your subscription, you'll be downgraded to the Starter account and no longer have access to the features or updates available on the subscriber accounts. Although various steps in the publishing process can happen after you've downgraded your account or your term has expired, you must remain subscribed if you're actively working with the data and progressing towards a working paper. You can read more about terminating your subscription and the impact that has on your ability to use the data in our terms and conditions. To cancel your account, please reach out to support@deweydata.io
