Brick & mortar and ecommerce direct-to-consumer sales are recorded on transaction date and purchase data is available for most companies as early as 4 days post-swipe. Geared toward academic finance research, data covers company-level aggregates of daily spend and transactions as well as important company metadata. Same store sales data is quarterly at the ticker level. Total spend data is daily but can be aggregated to company reporting quarters."
