Overture Maps Foundation Overture Divisions

Global register of administrative and political divisions from the Overture Maps Foundation divisions theme: countries, dependencies, regions, counties, localities, neighborhoods and similar entities, one row per division with a representative point location. Each row carries the division's subtype and class, its ISO 3166-1 country and ISO 3166-2 region codes, its position in the administrative hierarchy (admin level, parent division and the full hierarchy of ancestors), all known names with local-language variants, the local name of its level (province, canton, borough and so on), population where known, its capital divisions and the divisions it is the capital of, the political perspectives from which it is accepted or disputed, local norms such as driving side, cartographic hints, a Wikidata identifier and the source records it was built from.
